No solution other than leave IE as your primary browser or uninstall MSI Live Update (my solution as I really don't use it anyway).

Problems are quicklaunch missing, long long boot times (5-10 mins from background appearing until icons and start bar comes up), etc.

I installed firefox at the same time I upgraded to a San Diego 4000+ so it caused me some grief troubleshooting.

I am not sure, but you'd be best to open a new thread on that rather than try here.

An easy way to test is to set IE back as your default browser then reboot.

If your boot times/functionality improve then you know the application depends on IE
