Question If you use Handbrake what preset speed do you use to encode?

Slow represents a good balance of quality/time/compression. Slow is practical to use thanks to these high core count CPUs we have lately.

FYI - Default on that one is VerySlow

I transcode on a 2500K... and never had a problem. Now that I have a 2600X... whooo!

It doesn't really say 'very slow' so I'll take your word for it. 😉

Depends. If I just want a quick and easy conversion for viewing on the go or just want to watch it once I'll use fast. If I want a more "archival" type copy, then slow.

Very slow
I am using it for onedrive archíve. So I reduce it how I can. With 3900x undervolted it is going very good
