this guy has you beat. Yes, the guy sitting on the curb with his hands on his head was the driver.

This guy somehow managed to put his Xterra through a privacy fence at the local Taco Bell and drop the front end down onto this monster planter that looks to be made of stone and mortar. The only tire touching the ground is the one you see in the pic - the front bumper is on the aforementioned planter and the front tires are in the void between the retaining wall and the planter. Damage didn't look too bad, but that will change when the wrecker gets there to get him out.

I am not 100% clear on that, as the deed was done when we got there. From talking to some other people, it sounds like maybe he was leaving and put it in drive instead of reverse.

Edit: D@mn you for editing while I was quoting and answering your oiginal post. :)

Yikes!

I saw a pickup parked half in and half out of a restaurant a month or so ago. Right through the wall and windows, took out some tables. They hadn't towed it out yet. I can't believe it didn't make the news that evening.

a lady dropped half her car into a median right behind my warehouse about 3 or 4 months ago. the median is in a parking lot, and dips in about 4 feet to match the lower side of the parking lot. she was funny to watch, she totally acted like that median was new, and it was put there on purpose. she had more damage done getting her car pulled out by a truck than she did dropping it in there.

when i was a young man, i worked at a restaurant that was next to a hair salon in a strip mall. some lil ole lady dropped her lead foot on the gas instead of the brake and plowed thru the salon. unfortunately she hit both the benches lining the windowed wall she nailed, pushing 3 other lil ole ladies out of the benches and into the other side of the salon. there was much mayhem and destruction.
