From what I can gather each unit is networked for Linux using etherboot and runs Wine to crunch with the NT Cli. Apparently the rack will allow for 22-24 units with each one producing a WU every 5.5 hours.

Lol, those are K7S5A's with Dual head Graffix cards. Thst $$ on cards could be better spent. And whats up with the 2 nic's?

Probably runs the nic cards in them because the onboard lan is probably not compatible with the etherboot. The video cards are PCI which probably means he bought them used or already had some that he pulled from old machines.

Those GFX cards aren't dual head, they look just like my Matrox Mystique PCI i've got in my server, although i never did fiind out what that other connector was for!

Darn, 22 K7S5As :Q That'll be pretty damn impressive....makes me wish i had some money!

Yeah me got 1 share in the rack at OcUK. It may be small comparded to some rack but the thing is, It only going to get bigger by ppl buying shares. There got lot of room at OcUK

1GHz Duron's overclocked to 1.12 on DDR SDRAM. Each proc delivers a WU in about 5 1/2 hours.
