Beginning in September 2003, Verizon Wireless will change it's policy regarding "call-forwarding". Calls that are forwarded (bounced) from your cell phone to your home phone, or any other line, will incur charges by Verizon. In other words, you will now be charged for every minute you talk on your land-based line every time a call is forwarded to it from Verizon!!

If you think this is BS, drop customer service a short e-mail and give them a piece of your mind!!! nwcustomerservice@verizonwireless.com

they also give you 30 extra minutes tho

This wasn't mentioned at all to me by Verizon, but even if it's true it will hardly make up for one or two forwarded calls.

I'm a verizon wireless subscriber and that didn't interest me at all. I didn't even know that they offered a service to forward calls from your cell phone to a landline.

Doesn't bother me either, if I don't answer my cell phone I don't want it ringing on another phone I'll have to ignore :D

*shrug*.... i got a postcard from them notifying me of this change and saying they would give me 30 additional anytime minutes. i never use the call-forwarding feature anyways tho.
