it's a simple matter of record. But for some reason they are closed beyond public view. Your obama could bring that to public view. When will he??
Bush is an interesting case since if you look at his earlier speeches he was very good. Then he went full retard. No clue why.

They all use two teleprompters whenever possible; it provides some semblance that they are connected with their audience, panning around making eye contact. The better speakers can incorporate actual eye contact; Clinton was a master at that, as was Reagan. Obama tends to look like he's watching a ping pong game, but he certainly sounds good.
your obama is on the pedestal. Lets see his attendance records. What classes he took. What papers he wrote. His test results. What did he actually achieve. The devil is in the details. That's why you'll never see the actuals.

Why the Race Card?
Were did Obama attend school when they left the Island he was born on ? Is his citizenship of that country require that he give up any other citizen ship? What was his name while he attended that school. Was he raised as a muslim or not? According to his citizenship of that country that require he give up his american citizenship.
You have a point there. But intelligence is like a good army, really nice to have if you need it.I don't think Obama is that intelligent, he is someone average intelligence, maybe slightly higher. And speaking is probably his strongest area.
Intelligence doesn't necessarily make a good president, because Jimmy Carter has a blazing high IQ over 140, and he was a terrible president.
His resume does sound like that of an intelligent person, although as others have pointed out, he keeps the actual records off limits. You have been posting anti-Obama stuff since before he was elected. I see a trend there.
It is not surprising that you would make one incident represent everything about him.
IIRC, Mr Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was the president of the Harvard Law Review. He worked as a civil rights attorney in Chicago and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004.
He may have made mistakes while giving speeches but his resume sounds like he is a very intelligent person.
Well, it's as serious as a thread about teleprompters can be.Is this a serious thread? I know people don't like Obama, but give me a break here. This makes most faux-outrage look like genuine concern by comparison.
Try to comprehend. It's a three minute speech. Three minutes. One hundred eighty seconds. One name, one position. So are you admitting that Reagan was "stupid", since he also used a teleprompter? Wait, and let me get this straight... you rightwingers accuse Obama of being "good at speeches" and an "empty suit" while at the same time accusing him of being bad at speeches and needing a teleprompter? At the same time he's simultaneously an over-educated elitist, and stupid because he uses a teleprompter just like Reagan?
Maybe you need a teleprompter to tell you what makes sense and what no fucking sense. Or do they not sell teleprompters in rightwing opposite fucking land?
This is the first werepossum troll thread I've seen.
Seriously - three minutes? About one's own nominee?
It's not like he delivered a "mission accomplished" speech over a war we are still in,...
Looking at speeches is pretty dumb since they're mostly written by others. Interviews with meaty questions would be a much better measure since it requires on-the-feet thinking.
Are you sure? We're still in a depression, and yet look at the crap he has shoveled out about how many jobs he has saved or created. When in fact he is still down at least 6 million jobs vs when he started. He is just charging a bunch of money on the nation's credit card, and claiming that that desperate crackhead move is putting us on the path to prosperity.

Let's do an analogy. I do not make fun of people who use ladders when reaching for books on the top shelf. I do make fun of people who use ladders when reaching for books on the top of their desk.
