Jets N Guns is probably the best shooter ever made.
I've been waiting for a sequel. Almost a decade now.

Nothing.

And I aint found any indie or mainstream games that compare.
Believe me, I looked.

Much fun  Very space  So shoot

I remember asking about sidescrolling shooters "like zero wing" here ages ago and jets n guns was recommended. Very cool game, awesome soundtrack as well, acid launcher is OP as hell though!

Can anyone confirm the 360 controller (wireless) works?

Well, it says in the description is supports controllers.

If you can get the wireless to work in general I dont know why it would fail for one particular game. But I use wired.

It's kinda brutal even on easy. Mucho experimentation needed with different weapons and weapon placement.

my first playthru was on Easy. In fact I dont think I've won on medium or hard.

i tried it on medium, got through first stage after a couple of tries, and the second one was brutal. died just before the checkpoint (?) after a few tries. gonna try again since it's been years since i've seriously played any twitch reaction games.

This game is pretty fun but difficult. Do you think you need a controller to play it properly? the keyboard controls are a bit tough. or do i need to practice a lot more?

If you dont have a gamepad then a mouse would be your best bet.

I hope all yous guys complaining about the difficulty know about the engine upgrades.

Acid gun....

Seems like it's helpful to maximize income on every level. Should I get the bounty detector thing on level 2? And still can't figure out how to hack those things, holding down shift. Ugh.

Hacking containers isnt easy. I saw a trick for it way back when, but nowadays I just sell them. And I dont purchase the hacking unit ever.

And yes, you do need to maximize money each level. You never lose cash, all goods are sold at 100 percent. But you need to do a little experimenting each time to figure what combos work.

Another way to save money: Either use shields or nano-bots. Not both. Shields raise your heat a great deal even with small hits. When your heat is up the nano bots dont work.
You will have to upgrade cooling, but early on its best to focus on either shields or repair. Late game when you've maxed cooling is the only time you can do both.

Bounty hunting and kill-cam are a great way to make extra cash and they should be purchased ASAP.
