They seem to sell some cheap ass CDs there & they are including free shipping right now. Examples:

Eminem Show CD + DVD (limited edition) - $10.77
Dave Matthews Band - Busted Stuff - $10.77
Ashanti - Ashanti - $11.97

I purchased DVDs from their other site and they seem to be pretty reliable as well.

For those harder to find CD's CircuitCity.com has pretty decent prices and they've had free shipping on all Music CD's for quite some time now (like the past 6 months). I buy all my cd's from there.. their ground shipping is pretty quick for me.

edit: forgot to mention they charge tax though :(

They don't seem to have the most recent release by Doves, The Last Broadcast.
after checking the prices im still a half.com man. cant beat those prices
Unfortunately there are too many half.com people. I used to be able to get plenty of used CDs for $3-4 but prices have risen as more shoppers have discovered half.com. Supply hasn't kept up.

I ordered from them a couple months ago (the Eminem CD), I ordered on May 31, They shipped it on June 4... 2 weeks later it still hadnt come, so I called them..they said you have to wait 15 BUSINESS days before they can re-ship. So I waited and called them back. They said the CD had gotten shipped back to them. Theres no way thats possible because I verifed my address with them at least 5 times. So they said they would ship another the next day. A week later I called them back to check the status of it. They said they hadnt shipped it because of some credit card problem?? (even though i had already been charged on June 4). So they fixed that (i dont even know what they did) and sent it out, finally a few days later I got it, 1 and a half months later!!

But I must say their customer service is pretty good. Whenever you call someone IMMEDIATELY picks up. No waiting, no menu choices to choose from (none that I can remember)....

Hopefully yall have better luck than me!

You can buy CDs with stuff already on them?

Why would anyone want used CDs?

I could care less about my conscience ;) but I like the tactile feel of a printed CD with full artwork and liners. I bought my first music CD 13 years ago so I am rather attached to the real thing and I can actually look at a jewel case and recall old memories. CD-Rs are too sterile and don't hold lasting value for me.

Hmmm, I've had a bunch of CD's listed with them for about 8 months, and the prices on the stuff seems to keep going down. Every once in a while, I go in there and see how competitive my prices are, and I have to reduce them to get my remaining CD's somewhere near the top of the list.

Just to offset the bad with the good, my experiences with this place have always been great (including the Eminem CD/DVD that I ordered). Always the lowest prices around, no problems with shipping. Even had a couple preorders of mine ship ahead of schedule. I had to call them once for something (forgot what now) and I recall them being very friendly, although I wasn't in the same boat as heat23.

I haven't been dealing with them for that long, but so far, so good. I haven't ordered music CD's from anywhere else since I found them.
