Well I was afraid to get Windows Xp because of all these horror stories...
I got it, and i must say I love it.
I was upgrading from Windows 98 to this. During installation, I thought it froze becuase it was taking so long.... LET IT RUN. After an hour or maybe less, it was done.
Some hardware devices i had to find, like
the new driver for like my USB compact flash reader.
Everyone was in one piece, all my files from 98 were not harmed.
As for gaming i tried to play some Counter-Strike and the openGl didnt work. OOPSS Then i remembered that i have to now D/L the new Video Drivers.
Now, i cant explain it, but I would always miss the first round in CS because i got in to slow. Now i am like the first-third person in on every map.
I have an older system too. Classic Athlon 750
