If you paint your case or do any mod that doesn't help cooling, then you absolutely cannot talk about "rice".

What about modding it to look "cleaner?" I used some rubber bands so my wires aren't sticking all over the place...Am I a computer-ricer now?

yeah i painted my zip drive black...need to get aroudn to my DVD and CD-RW...

the point is it makes it look faster! you see?

also note that i never said it's stupid, its your own opinion of course, and even i think some case mods look cool, as do some rice cars. but the point is, if you rice up your pc, then dont make fun of guys who rice up their cars.

my case has a sony mobile sticker from my car amp😉 i dunno why they even include that, its like hey i have an amp to steal!
 
The heck with riceing up cars and cases, I want a car that runs on rice! That, or hydrogen. 😛

Lets not forget the rules of computers and riceing.

Add a performance sticker (Athlon, P4, Alpha, etc) and add 100mhz to your cpu for every sticker.
Add any computer related stickers and add 25mhz for every sticker. 5mhz for any non computer related stickers.
Put a window in your case - Add 150mhz
Put glow lights on your case - Add 50mhz for each one.

The catch?
No real mods (blowholes, extra fans, water cooling, super cpu heatsinks, etc)
If you do that, you no longer have a ricer, you have a hot rod. 😛
