If you owned a website, would you want to include a survey/poll on the site? If so, would you be willing to pay for that service?

The reason I ask is because I'm considering starting a small internet business. I want to remotely host polls for people, and I want to know if that is something that people would pay for if the service is good.

I just want to know what you would do if you had a personal site and wanted a survey. I'm not asking for any customers. Tell me what you think, and what reasonable prices for polls would be.

I own a website and no I wouldn't pay for a poll service. There are already many places that do this and also there are a zillion free poll programs out there.

I own a few websites, and run my own polls using a php script. OF course the answers you get here will be far different than the general population. That niche of the internet is pretty well covered by free poll hosting companies, already.

Despite all the replies to the negative, you might give it a go anyway. If you offer a poll service, maybe you can offer some unique and desirable features that aren't readily available in freebie programs. Maybe some demographic information gotten from poll users that will help to understand the poll responses better.
