Why would I care if minorities were in my theater? Most of my friends wouldn't be allowed in and I might not be. I just don't want to get punks in my theater who will cause a ruckus.

Mine would be:

No outside food.
No Children under 4 for G and 5 for PG movies, no children under 7 for PG-13+ movies. An adult must accompany children under 13 for all films.
No cell phones or pagers.
No talking once the previews start.
No 'Gangster' style clothing.
No smoking.
No throwing of objects.
No activities illegal in the public domain.

Failure to comply would bring immediate and permanent removal from my establishment.

You would have a failing business.

No talking once the preview starts? Thats absurd. This is a place of fun, not a library. I can understand don't be excessively loud, but no talking? Children under 13 accompanied to all films? Your going to lose alot of younger children business. No ganster clothing? Who deems what ganster? Your rules are idiotic. Get a life.

Your stereotyping so bad its not even funny. So your saying if I wear a hat backwards Im a punk and Im going to cause a ruckus? Pfft. Get your head out of the sewer man. Not everyone who dresses like a ganster is a punk.

I like some of the rules all of the time, some of the rules some of the time, but not all of the rules all of the time.

How about "Courtesy Nights" Say Tuesdays. No cell phones, no pagers, no kids. No talking, no food products in crinckly plastic. One day a week when people who hate interruptions can come watch a movie in the old way. Also give a senior discount on that night.

And with this digital projection stuff, stream the movie to the bathroom and concession area. Don't suppose with film it was practical, but no reason they can't plug in and run the video to TVs in the theater. Sucks to miss parts because you have to pee or got nominated to get popcorn. Then again maybe this is already being done, just not at my rinky dink 1980's mall theater that's never been updated.
