How do you order your pizza (most often)?

  • Classic way - I call them

  • Order online

  • Use an app on my cell phone

  • I don't order pizza, and have no business answering this.

Online.

That way I can play with the coupons to get the best deal and less chance of a error.

I call because I only eat local quality pizza. Usually quality pizza doesn't have online ordering. ;)

I will say that in my old town (I moved this summer) pretty much every local place at an online presence, but that was also living in a college town.

I really miss ordering sushi online :(

I like the pizza tracker thingy on Domino's, but the local store was mean last time so I don't think I'll be ordering there anytime soon...

I call them, Luigi's has a website, but it's like a 1990s website, and Lou Malnati's doesn't do delivery (they will ship pizza's packed in ice for like $30 .. but, otherwise it's pick up or dine in only) Panhandlers has an even worse website, no online ordering. J J Twigs doesn't have online ordering. Pete's Pizza doesn't have online ordering. Or, ocassionally I'll get a cheap pizza, Little Ceasers, but, I don't get delivery, I just get the "hot and ready" if I go there...

So, I've never ordered a pizza online... but I would, especially if I could get Luigis or Lou Malnatis.. mmmmm

I call because it's actually faster. They have my name and CC on file. I just call, say who I am, tell them to use my account, and it's at my door in 25 minutes. It's a small locally owned pizza place, so they do this for their customers.

I love small towns :)

I don't order too often, but when I do I just call in. The best place for pizza around here is a local carry-out/delivery only shop that only has room for about three customers inside. They most definitely don't have a website. Even if they did, I'd probably still just call it in because it takes all of about 30 seconds.

The local place I like doesn't have online ordering, but they do have our address tied to the phone number, so I don't have to give them that. They even have our most common order popup on thier ordering system from the phone number.

I won't order crappy pizza just so I can order online.

When I order from Good Guys Pizza I do it online most times. When I order from Pagliacci Pizza, I do it over the phone. I always get the same order from Pagliacci, and they have my order history on file along with my delivery address and CC info, so all I have to say is "gimme what I ordered last time."

I don't eat pizza anymore, but when I did, I would just go to a pizza place.

dominos website is significantly better than their pizza... which, while it makes for a good ordering experience, doesn't make for a good eating experience ;)

Dominos used to be horrible, but at the end of 2009, they changed everything about their pizza. New dough, new cheese, and new sauce. Still doesn't compare to a high quality local place, but for chain pizza, it's pretty good.

I've got 5 kids to feed, so I order from Dominos pretty often. Slightly more expensive than Little Caesars, but much much better.

Sometimes I order from Papa Johns when they have good specials. Whether it's Dominos or Papa Johns, I prefer ordering online, so I can see what the best deals are.

We do have some good local places around here, but most of them are pretty expensive.

I call and go pick it up. When I call they tell me how long it will be. It's the best pizza around and they sometimes get overwhelmed, so if they tell me it will be 45 minutes, sometimes I say forget it and eat somewhere else. I don't know how that would work if they took orders online. Delivery always takes too long, and I think I'd rather have a person tell me how long it will take, instead of an online system that can't see how many people are waiting in line to order.

I don't trust that new-fangled intarwebs thing...I pick up the phone, tell them I want to order a pizza for delivery...place the order...and wait for the dammed pizza to get here.

When I was big into ordering stuff (Wings cheesesteaks etc) campusfood.com was awesome because I live right next to a college. So online every time its great because you don't feel like a tool ordering something outside of pizza or wings.
