...here he is.

Yay for Jesus.

These are pretty funny looking, despite the artist's seriousness.

I don't know what to say.

Its obvious the artist was serious. but they serve no discernable purpose. its kinda funny, but not really

That's actually a misconception... did anyone here see the Discovery Channel special about Jesus? They were actually pretty close to right-on in a lot of their information, one of their points being that the whole Jesus image has been horribly misconstrued throughout history by the white majority. Jesus was neither white NOR black, didn't have long hair, and was NOT the thin, sickly looking gent you see in all the pics of catholic origin. Judging by historical facts and forensic evidence of the average male of that time and area, Jesus was actually quite stocky, olive skinned, and looked similar to people today from that region. If they ever replay the documentary, I'll have to record it and post some vidcaps somewhere so you can see it. It really was pretty interesting.

They all have that "Buddy Christ" look to them.

They paint a very lazy picture of Jesus, though. I mean look at the carpet layer pic -- that guy is working hard with his hands, layin' carpet, and Jesus just sits there. Doesn't offer to help. Doesn't offer to get the guy a refreshing beverage. Nothin'.

It's a sad day for a religion when part of your holy trinity won't get a poor carpet layer a refreshing beverage. ;)
