Be careful if you drive today. It's supposed to be a big slurry rain/sleet/snow fest.

Just a friendly Chaotic42 morning PSA.

It's not close enough to Memphis 🙁

Although it's been raining for the past 12+ hours here, it's 55° at the moment :Q

It's windy as hell here. Our front door keeps blowing open. The regular lock is broken, so I have the chain lock on it. The gusts are supposed to get to 35 mph today. With it being 18, that would make it feel like -23F today.

🙁

Strange...you're not much north of me and it's 22F here:

Humidity: 68 %
Wind Speed: E 12 MPH
Barometer: 29.97" (1015.6 mb)
Dewpoint: 13°F (-11°C)
Wind Chill: 10°F (-12°C)
Visibility: 7.00 mi.

The wind is roaring here. We just had a huge gust. It's 18F.

Yeah, when storms come out of the NW, W, SW, they hit the hills west and sw of Louisville and split north and south. That's why Meade/Breckinridge Counties (where my mom lives) get so much severe weather.

I'm from the Gulf Coast where it storms *everyday* in the summer, and almost everyday in the winter.

When it gets really cloudy here in Bedford, people freak out. They drive like 2 mph in the rain, but go faster than normal in the snow. I don't get it. 😛

Yep. Weird people, stagnant state and culture. It's like being on the neutral planet from Futurama.

"Tell my wife I said... hello"

At least we have a booming funeral home industry here.

We're under a level 1 county emergency. No travel is permitted outside of the city. Cars can get zero traction on the roads.

LoL

LVL 1 County Emergency and you barely got anything.
Just imagine you get like 6-8 inches, the whole state would just shutdown.
