I like Avril Lavigne. I think she's a good singer. And the fact that she writes her own songs and plays the guitar puts her way above the other manufactured pop singers in my opinion.

Also, I think she looks okay without her makeup. And she looks really pretty with some makeup.

I've never had a girlfriend but doesn't this imply that all girls look that way without makeup? Or does she look worst than most girls without makeup? Is that why everybody is making such a big deal of her pictures without makeup?

Are you sure you are even old enough to have kids? In case you weren't paying attention, Mariah and Whitney came out at about 10 years ago and that's when they were in their prime. There is no bubblegum cookie-cutter crap anywhere. Things have changed, but get your facts straight.
