I dont like l;ooking at her....I dont even think she is over 18 yet....maybe she is I am not sure.
I think she takes her whole "I am a rock chick" bit to seriously, she cant really sing that well.

I was also amazed when I saw this show on Botox plastic surgery, and sure enough the doctor had a picture of her signed and he was going on about how she came to get Botox injections.
I was thinking christ! she is only like 17 or 18 and she thinks she needs to get rid of wrinkles?

Can't sing? She writes her own stuff and, imo, sings quite well. Just because it's pop doesn't make it bad. She's heads and shoulders above the Britneys/Christinas/etc. Having a teenage daughter (and another daughter who wishes she was a teenager ) I get to listen to a lot of Pop. . Avril's music is ok in my book.

She looks like she just turned 13. I know she is 18, but still. Great singer? You are on crack. She is Canadian and hence we get more exposure of her here. Her music sucks. She may be popular with the acne crowd but so what.

Now with a possible movie Sk8er Boi, she is going suck more. LOL she can't even spell.

thos people in her band her assigned to her, she did not really know them before she was with the record company, she is as manufactured as the boybands, but she does sing and partly write her songs so thats a plus

If I wanted, and if a record company wanted, they could have my name in the next big pop tunes - its all about how much the true authors will be paid off to have that name addition. I subscribe to print editions of some guitar magazines. Her first album got good reviews for the songwriting and musicianship in them. Avril gets respect by professional musicians. Take that FWIW, I haven't heard too much of her stuff myself.

A picture doesn't tell you everything, the one from BBC was really good i thought. A lot of people have terrible picture but yet they look so different in real life.

at least she's not christina aguilera.
