I work as an IT/helpdesk guy for a chemical company as part of my co-op term. I have been givin the job of getting some old software to work in 2000/xp. Right now the company says that the software will only work in 9x, mainly because they dont want to suppot it. I have the software working in xp now thanks to compatibilty mode, but i cant get it to see the instrument. The instrument connects through the serial port. here is the link to the product. http://www.horibalab.com/Products/la910.html.. THat is for the 910, but i'm pretty sure it is just an update of hte 900. Any help would be appreciate because i'm out of options.
