ahn young ha sae yo. (hello politely)

jae hankuk mael ee bujok han gah lul yeong so hae ju sae yo. (excuse my poor korean)

sang eel chuk wah ha sae yo. (congratulations on your birthday)

jum bul peon ha shus sah yo? ( you weren't feeling well)

something like that.

with korean, it's as much the attitude as it is the language.

levels of speaking.

conversational to inferior (almost rude sounding)
conversation with friend (will often be polite but you can take liberties)
conversation with stranger (very polite and you take almost no liberties)
conversation with elder (very very polite with a bit of subservience)
conversation with elder that is relative or relative to a friend (in general extremely polite, always self depracating).
