If you know about hard drives and Raid...please read!!!

Hey there-

Currently I have an IBM Deskstar 60GXP IC35L020AVER07 20 GB ATA/100 Hard Drive and I want to setup a RAID mirrioring system. I was wondering if is worth it to buy any hd of the same type or should i just buy 2 new bigger hd's such as 60gb? What do yall think and what would you do ifyou were in my shoes?

U should get at least one new drive to match Ur 60gig
a raid mirrored set will only be as fast as slowest drive
and only as big as smallest drive.
Matching drives would be the best (two identicall)
but two of same size will work just fine but will only be as
fast as the slower one of the two.

That's a 20 Gigger, not a 60.
