If you keep deleting your cookies, couldn't you vote in an Internet poll as many times as you like?

well most of the polls I care enough to vote on usually have thousands of votes (like espn's polls or whatever). Unless you figured out a way to mass change your ip/delete your cookies or just have a LOT of time on your hands I think the results are still pretty accurate most of the time. Although if you have a small poll like chubby wallet and their member of the year or whatever like that then maybe you can consider it tainted if someone cares enough to do that.

If you can name 10 of the mistakes, wouldn't you not being making them? So then wouldn't it be 15 mistakes rather than 25.

I know it's a mistake not to do my homework everyday but for some reason I keep missing assignments :) I found that quote from a john grisham book (the client) and liked how it sounded even though I never really thought too deeply about the quote

<< Any legit poll also tracks IP's... >>

I disagree, since it wouldn't be able to handle NAT or AOL's massive web proxy accurately.

It's well known that anonymous Internet polls are not accurate.

To answer another misconception, those who rig polls don't use a standard browser; they use a small (likely non-GUI) scriptable HTTP client, or perhaps a Perl script.
