That batter should be tossed out of the game for a month after a display like that. I can't believe how long he chased that poor guy.

Better response: have a second ball handy, and while he's running, bean him again. Properly.

LOL

Without clicking on the link, I'm gonna guess this is Tony Bautista getting beaned by some Japanese pitcher in the Japanese league, and the pitcher got the sh!t scared out of him.

Nope, but that's what I thought it was going to be, too.

Negative. Baseball fights are a lot bigger/better because they are so rare. When two benches empty, it's pandemonium for a good 5 or 10 minutes. Hockey fights are often more intense, but usually shorter.

In the NHL, if you leave the bench to join a fight it's an automatic suspension (also if you use any piece of equipment as a weapon). But in the case of a Senators-Flyers game a few years back, the players who were on the bench during the first fight just waited until the faceoff after the fight, then dropped their gloves and started fighting. :D Rinse, repeat until you have the better part of both teams kicked out of the game and a league record for penalty minutes in a game (over 400 I believe).
