If you have two interested buyers for the same item, how do you choose who gets it?

I'd say give it to the person who PMed you first, regardless of how negligible the time frame is for the 2nd PMer.

however we are talking about a 45-1hr timeframe between buyer 1 and 2...or is it still buyer 1s item?

1 hour time frame is not roughly the same time. 1st buyer gets it.

I thought you meant it was a matter of seconds/minutes, definitely give it to buyer 1 :)

In summary.

Seller wants to sell something on teh intarweb.

Guy #1 sends PM which says he'll buy it.

45 minutes later,

Guy #2 sends PM which says he'll buy it.

Seller starts thread because he/she isn't sure who to sell it to.

Are you 100% sure you're up for the whole internet buy/sell thing?

If two people want it that bad, I would wait for a third offer. Then jack up the price and notify the first two. If they don't buy, then you always have the third person.

That's not kosher. Seller offers to sell it at a certain price, buyer agrees. End of discussion.

I hope you are being sarcastic. This isn't Ebay.

Except when it comes to the buy-it-now feature. :)

To the person who PM'ed me first. Unless I just have a real bad feeling about them - sometimes some people make a lot better impression than the other person, in terms of rudeness, etc.
