what really sucks is now that I'm working at a hospital, it does kinda sicken me what the percentage of morbidly obese patrons we have is (and I mean those that are in the hospital because of diseases accociated with obesity). It's actually higher than cigarette smokers.

It's funny that people get all worked up about fat people...

It's even more annoying when people bring up excuses like they raise my insurance premiums.

Other things that raise your premiums which are worse than fat people and in a lot of cases controllable:

Smokers, heavy drinkers, bad drivers, old people

Everyone has this ridiculous assumption that it's how they eat or they're eating too much. Have you ever considered that their metabolisms just suck? A lot of fat people aren't eating more than normal people. Hell, I know a lady who plays softball 6 days a week and runs all the time. All she eats for meals are cup o noodle's and is definitely fat. I
