What would that be? Make this a very important wish
Thought I would like faster broadband, i do not mind if it never get faster.

I wish for world peace
I do not wish for anything else
I need nothing else.

Most of us wish for good luck or to be rich but that does not help others who may benefit from our wishful thoughts which will eventually happens if everyone wish for it as well.
Let's end all war, let's heal this planet back to way it was a long time ago... we can do it but it needs our prayers.

Peace will only do us good if we have a planet left. I wish that we find ways to stop destroying Earth. Peace would be 2nd, or maybe 3rd after a threesome with a couple victoria secret models.

I wish that salaries were proportional to intelligence and time spent in school (pursuing a worthwhile major!)

World peace could have some really bad consequences. I'm almost afraid to ask for it.

On the X-Files, world peace was achieved by removing all human life on Earth, I wouldn't wish for that. Until humans evolve a bit I don't see a way peace can be achieved without some equally unpleasant side effect.

For a "help humanity" wish, I'd ask for the plans of a simple, safe, cheap to operate and green fusion reactor to appear in the hands of enough engineers worldwide that it couldn't be suppressed or hoarded.

Plentiful, cheap and clean energy sources could make a difference in how everyone lives.

I wish that people (myself included) would stop just sitting around wishing for something and instead actually strive to work towards achieving it.

I wish that there was no such thing as a wish, so I wouldn't be wishing for something that i wish i could have, but never get because it's just a wish.

If I asked for something selfish, I know I would regret it, and God has already provided and continues to provide me with everything I need (my problem is more that I have too many things I don't need). If I asked for something unselfish, like world peace, it would probably have some type of negative consequence because it wouldn't be a panacea for the world and problems just tend to shift. I also don't have a wide enough perspective of the world in order to ask for something liek that and not neglect something equally important.
I think the only thing I could ask for is that someone infinitely wise, infinitely powerful, infinitely just, and infinitely loving would bring to fruition the redemption of the world from fallenness to perfection - and there is already Someone who is doing that: God.

I'd wish to make it possible to do 1/0.

So if I could have any wish, I would wish that I could see things from God's perspective, and not be caught up in the threads of humanity and the universe, but see the grand tapestry of what God has accomplished, is accomplishing, and will accomplish at the Revelation of jesus Christ.

Wow. Thats a selfish wish, don't you think? Seeing everything from Gods Perspective. I mean, I don't think Chuck Norris would appreciate you intruding on his life.

I don't mean seeing every single thing that happens, I mean being able to fully comprehend how, even though difficult things might happen in my life or happen in world, everything, whether good or bad from a limited and temporal human perspective, works together for an ultimate good eternity. If I could have that perspective, I would not be disheartened or afraid ever, and that would free me up to accomplish only God's will and be able to help others.

EDIT: It is a selfish wish, to some extent. Even things we humans do charitably we do because we want some type of benefit, even if it is just to "feel good about ourselves". The most unselfish wish that a person could have is for God's will to be accomplished, because when His will is first, the good of humanity comes along with it, and lastly myself also.

Putting yourself first is the worst. Putting others first is more noble, but not perfect. Putting God first is perfect, because it encompasses all other things. Concern yourself with the things of God, and everything else good (caring for the needy, helping the helpless) comes as a byproduct.

What's something that money can't buy? Health!

So I would wish for a healthy long life.

Lies. In 20 years, we'll all have clones that can be used for spare parts.

I wish that we can achieve inter-galaxy space travel so I can be a passenger and just see what the hell is out there.
