yea i agree if there is someone close enough to hear your subs then you have good system or need bigger house ;) i have 2x 12" infinity 1263.. (that i need to get new amp for since i blew the dsp behringer twice so far pushing them ;) i made the boxes myself from flatpacks and they seem to do decent job at rumbling.. i play them when ever i want. No one has the guts to tell me not to.. i even pass out notes to neighbors say if you have issue let me know and left number ;) of course i leave my phone on silent but i havnt seen any calls or msgs.. should i get a europower 4000watt? or something diff? im sick of blowing this one and having to RMA it ;P so if anyone wants to buy newly RMA 1200 dsp ?? i think its that or maybe its the 2000 i forget am not at home..

was it one of the inukes?
only way one of those should blow on you if you are trying to run it bridged at 2 ohms

even then itll prob just go into protection mode and turn off, not actually blow something

9 to 10 during weeknights and 2 AM-ish weekend nights. If you have a problem, knock on my door and I'll offer you a beer and probably turn it off or down considerably.

I always find the adultneighbors that bang on the walls or floors really hard laughable. Wow really? Grow up children.

Edit:
And lol @ the "rock it all night long" votes. Most of you people are too self-concious or don't the rocks. Or maybe you think putting 4 watts to the subwoofer is "rocking it". :D

Whenever I want. I'd just turn the subwoofer volume down to an appropriate level.

If you're talking about full volume, probably about 9:00 P.M.

They're being children for knocking on the door/wall of an inconsiderate asshole, but you're totally justified. This makes perfect sense.

appropriate level is subjective

I consider appropriate to be inaudible inside the neighbor's house nearest my HT system. The best I can do to test that is to play something and then walk outside my house to see how loud it is. I've done that, and I'm pretty sure I know how loud I can play something without bothering anyone else.

So being a grownup is inconveniencing myself more to come to your door rather than bang on the wall which is usually universally accepted as 'turn that down'? Highly dependent on neighbors and situation but I won't be walking to your door every time I need you to not be an inconsiderate wise and beautiful woman

I have about 2000W+ of subwoofer power but living in an apartment means I seldom listen at much more than a few watts. I've had some complaints from the upper floor when I played an action movie, below reference level, at about 9PM. This same apartment has screaming kids at 2AM.

Some day I hope to have a home where I can wind it up whenever I want. I'm delaying the main amp upgrade to give me 400 wpc for the mains until I can find a place I can use it.

I have a home theatre with projector, nice Paradigm Studio 60 tower speakers, and a 1000 Watt SVS PB-13 Ultra subwoofer.

However, having kids in the house, now 98% of the time I watch stuff on my iPad with ear buds or else on the TV with my Sennheiser RS 180 wireless headphones.
I had Paradigm Studio 60's in a previous system. This time I have Studio 100's front, 590 center, Studio 40's in back, and the Paradigm 15 inch sub. I just have a Pioneer AVR driving everything but the sub but when I get the chance I want to get a newer AVR and a separate power amp for the fronts.

Just wish I could crank it up, but I'm limited to the occasional blast before about 9PM.

I have an 18" Maelstrom sub with 1500 watts going to it. It is not turned up, hell speaker barely moves as it is. So yeah I would use it at anytime the GF is awake.
