If you guys have Klipsch 5.1 Ultras and Audigy 2 ZS can you check something for me?
Go to your surround sound mixer program, and click on "advanced" tab. There should now be some slider bars for Front Channel Left, Right, Center, Rear Left, Rear Right, and Subwoofer. Right?
Ok good, now play something with lots of bass....doesn't have to have lots, just enough to distinguish it. Maybe an MP3 or better yet, a DVD movie that has 5.1.
Ok good, now while the song/movie is playing w/ enough bass, adjust the "subwoofer" slider bar from max -> nothing.
Do you hear any change in the subwoofer/bass level?
Whenever I adjust it, the bass level does not change at all...does that mean my subwoofer channel is perhaps messed up? When I play mp3s, it sounds good, but sometimes in DVDs, I feel that the bass presence isn't all quite there. And I have adjusted EQ's, my control unit, etc to get more bass. i'm sure ther'es nothing wrong, but I just wanted to see if others have the same issue.
Thanks!
