If you have kids do you think you will be a good parent?

Unfortunately it did not work on Millennium's mom.

I assume that your Lifer status does not indicate "Pro".

I think it'd be shaky at first as I got used to the responsibility, but I like to think I'd be a pretty cool dad. 🙂

Heaven help me if I have daughters though. Spoil them rotten I will.

I suspect that I'd be an awful parent.

As a kid, all I wanted from my parents was to be left alone, so I'd probably end up ignoring my kids.

I expected a bashing Mill, have you gone soft in your old age ? 😉

Nah, just figured your comments were fairly sarcastic and not a personal indictment. I'm not a fan of abortion(unless it was for imtim's offspring). 😛

my personal theory on child raising goes like this.

the goal of a parent for his/her child is to prepare them to leave home.

Actually this is very true. Right now in my life I just want to live long enough to make sure my kids can take care of themselves. I'm not saying I don't want to live but everything is for them, to make sure they can make it on their own.

i will continue the family tradition of beating the shat outta of them until the understand right and wrong.....i cant wait 😀

i think i'll be a tough parent. i read somewhere that usually you end up being the exact opposite of your parents. such as if your parents were strict towards you, you will be very easy going and lenient towards your children...and vise versa.

my parents are really easy going....i have all the freedom in this world. therefore i think i'll be a strict parent. also i tend to have no patience with stupidity...and kids do stupid things
