1. Right Click My Network Places
2. Click Properties
3. Click Advanced in the menu bar
4. Click Advanced Settings
5. Change the Order of the bindings to which connection you want listed first.
if one interface includes a gateway/internet access and the other only goes to a LAN without a gateway, how does Windows know which interface to route a given packet to?
Simple, take out the wireless card when you connect up to the hardwire. Unless of course it's internal. You could always jsut disable the wireless connection when you are physically connected up...
