IF you have an IPOD, do you use it when you work out or run?

I use mine at the gym pretty much every day. I have a neoprene Case Logic waist bag that I think was designed for a cassette walkman - it is a bit larger than I need, but works fine.
 
My mom sewed up a nice carrying case deal for me to use when I run with it (which is everyday). If I had a digicam, I'd take a picture of it, but I don't. Essentially it's a nylon strap that goes around your waste with a little nylon pouch that the Ipod fits in. Works great. It's nice because it doesn't bouce up and down and it isn't too bulky.

Had my Ipod in my sweats side pocket and run every day for 20 minutes at about 6mph (so the machine says) ...
No problems, no skipping, doesn't even get warmer than normal.

Dude, your mom is awesome... my mom cannot sew worth beans.
So I broke down an ordered an Iskin Exo, it has screen protectors and a belt clip and comes in multiple colors. And although it has not arrived, I am in great anticipation. 🙂

This is what I use when working out. When running, biking and rowing (crew), I put the neoprene <sp?> case in a fanny pack to make certain that it doesn't fall off of a belt clip.

I believe you can still get them for 29.99 free shipping (screen protectors, case, belt clip) but you don't get the pouch I should be getting for ordering back in July (14th I believe)... there is a page too, I believe, that shows which colors are currently shipping and which are still awaiting arrival.

Yeah, they were suppose to ship a bit ago, but they had QC issues with the screen protectors, and didn't ship the stuff. I applaud a company not willing to ship crappy things. I'd rather wait for a couple weeks than get someone that doesn't work. Things are working now, and items should be shipping.

I tried the DLO skin for awhile, then returned 2 of them (got 1 as a gift). As I wanted the iskin one, much cooler than the DLO 🙂

i have the ipod skin from spec. I like how it can dock by removing the bottom to the side.... the way the iskin does it.. just looks messy. But the iskin has a nice LCD protector (if it ever gets in stock). However, the nub on the back for the belt clip... really don't like that. The only other downside to the speck ipod skin is it's a universal one.. for the 10/15/30 models... so it's a little loose on my 15.
