hey guys i just ordered my intel core 2 duo e7200. i was just wondering how high some of u guys out there were able to oc it if u have this cpu or one similar to it. thanks.

3.6 comfortably. Vid is 1.1125v. I tried to push it a bit further but wanted to stay at this clock as I didn't like the voltage/heat it was generating. Cpu-z reports 1.248 @ load and I like where it stands. As it stands now, it only gets to 54c. Very good chip. :)

3.166GHz so far but that it because I am using an ECS motherboard w limited overclocking options (just selected 333MHz FSB). Stock voltage. Have a Gigabyte P45 waiting but won't install that for several more days.

3.7Ghz on 1.32V under OCCT load. VID is 1.2V. Temps don't go past 55C thanks to my Vendetta 2.

I'm @ 3.6 Ghz for now, because I'm still using my Q6600's stock cooler on it. I've got one of the early models that were doing 4.0 Ghz+, so I will most likely take mine higher, once I put my Scythe Ninja Rev. B on it.
