Not the best grades in the world, but the overall GPA isn't terrible. Basically I don't know where to go. Is there anything I'm qualified for that pays better than what I'm doing now (I'll probably make $28K next year)? If not, is there anything I'm close to? I don't think I want to finish the engineering transfer, I really didn't like it. I don't want to take any more math, but other than that I'm pretty much open for suggestions.

I'm feeling rather desperate to get out of this place today.

well where are you located? alot of how much you make has to do with the local economy cause i know guys here in chicago doing DSL LAN support for ameritech and covad who are making like 50-60k a year with very little education and a couple years experience in a related field (tech sup/help desk/networking). so move to a more profitable market.

You're grades don't determine what you're qualified to do IMO. You do. You'd probably be qualified to do a ton of things you never took a single class in. I would first decide what you want to do, and then figure out how to get there, rather than just letting past grades, jobs, etc., decide where you are going. Especially if you don't like where you are going. I was once at a similar point as you are (I won't bore you with details), and switching gears not only made me happier, it also made me a heck of a lot more money.
