Would you hire someone to write software for you or Hire a company ?

It would take RFID input from several locations and then put into the system. This system will also be used in the cafeteria, bookstore and other places where necessary and the data available online to students to check their account balances and other stuff.

And what would be the cost ?

Thank You

I would do it myself if I had the time. It would probably cost about the same to hire either, but hiring a company gives you the fail-safe that if one developer leaves, they will have to provide another instead of you doing the legwork.

Depends on the importance of the project and the scope of it all.

BUT... you may be able to find a college student headed into their senior year that doesn't have a job and get them to do it for cheap. College students love offers for money and resume building experience, but have the benefit of not charging as much.
