If you had my setup, what settings would you use to o/c ABit KT7/AMD 1000??

I am still a little confused about which softmenu 3 settings to use for the best overclock situation. I have done the pencil trick and have sufficient cooling, yet I can't seem to get it to o/c higher than 1060. I have tried going to 11x100, no dice. I tried fsb/pci and won't go any higher than 100/33. I tried just fsb at 5 and 6 and it works but no higher. Can someone tell me what settings you would use to get it o/c to 1100 or higher. Maybe I need to change memory settings? Presently I am using turbo/turbo/turbo and cas 2. Below is my hardware setup.

ABIT KT7 (Not the 133A)
T-Bird 1000
Kingmax PC150 (256mb)
Alpha/Delta HS/Fan
SB Live Plat
Voodoo5 5500
Antec case with 350w PS

Hi Mr J . Have you checked that the unlocking works? try going down in multiplier try 9,8,7,6 and post and look at reported Speeds. This indicates if it works
I did the penciltrick twice and stil kan only use some of the multipiers due to that one or more of my brdiges do not work. (fumblefingers I know)
No dice over 105 is a bit low on a KT7 . I think they should make up to around 110. but that is individual

I run a Duron 800 on 7X140=980 Mhz

You do of course realise that not all processors will overclock...? The slower your CPU's rating, the higher the probability that it will overclock sucessfully and significantly. However, 1GHz is pretty near the end of the line and it's entirely possible that it just won't go any higher! :-( My own 1GHz will do 1100, but I certainly didn't EXPECT it to do so when I bought it!

Hummm... I thought the 1-1.2Ghz cpu`s were of the same cores or very close??? Also my 1Ghz will run up to 1400mhz but get damn hot... "MrJ" to me it sounds more like a memory problem even before I read about your mem timings... I would try to lower them somewhat (cas3 not turbo) and see what happens then...
