which one would you pick, and why?

I'd go smell, just because there are so many bad ones out there.

I picked taste, much easier to eat healthy that way. Picking food would be 100% based on how good it was for me.

Taste and smell are pretty intertwined, so I think you'd have to lose both -- not one or the other.

But, yeah, despite how bland life would be, I'd probably want to lose taste / smell.

Smelling and taste go hand in hand - you'd kinda be screwed.

Definitely smell. I live 4 blocks from a park and I can smell the nasty when skunks rip a huge one at night. Smell I can do without.

Ps. Stop messing w/ the damn skunks, you assholes.

Given those choices, taste. Smell is more likely to alert you to danger.

You must have really poor hearing then, because that's your top alert alarm.

Not when there's a gas leak.

I lost my sense of dignity one night in TJ in '04. Lets just say always check the undercarriage.

I chose "sight" so I won't have to read these stupid polls anymore that offer sight as an option to lose over the four other senses.
