If you had a key mark about a foot across your quarter panel...

Would you stop caring/washing your car? My car got keyed one day about a foot long. I haven't washed it since then. I figure, my car is black, it's keyed nicely, no point in cleaning!

I don't know, I just lost interest/motivation to keep her clean after she got that key mark.

I'd be too busy hunting down whoever did it to wash my car.

Can't manufacturers come up with some kind of clear shell to put over the paint? It can't be that difficult. Just like a super-hard gloss coat.

i kinda lost interest once i found scratch marks from rocks and a key mark too. i let it get really really dirty. now i clean it a bit, not because i care, but because i don't want the rest of the weak @ss paint to dissapear:)

I'd call insurance, pay my deductible and get it fixed. I hate key marks. :(

If I scratched it, I'd get it touched up at a body shop. :)

Oh no, this key mark is too small to get insurance invovled. My deductible is like $250.00 so I would pay for it anyway lol.

Touch up is nice, than again a new paint job wouldn't hurt her!

Ever since my car got hit, i don't really wash it either. Its a common psychological thing.

Damn keyers. They haven't got me yet, but boy would I like to figure out a way to pump 150,000 volts through my car's exterior shell while the alarm's engaged. <beep> <beep> and now anyone who touches her gets fried like an egg on the pavement...

We went to michigan state for a party...and my friend left his U of M parking permit on his rear view... Well those stupid idiots keyed his car front to back both sides then did a big zorro on his hood. Well we noticed it after we got home and in the sun and man was it ever bad. I am sorry, but MSU takes stupid things way to seriously and their reputation shows for it.
