Get some nice speakers, like Logitech Z-640 surround sound, or something in that range. Computing with good speakers will leave you never wanting to use a machine without them.

If the hard drive is too loud for you, sell it to pay for a Seagate with a fluid bearing.

1) Audigy 2. If you're using onboard, the A2 will sound much better on your Z-640's.
2) 512MB DDR400. Really depends on your usage, but I've found an extra 512MB to be very beneficial.
3) Noise control. Sounds like you have a noise problem. Get yourself an Antec TruePower 430W or other PSU with variable speed fans for @ $70. Then pick up a sunbeam rheobus for ~$20. Noise problem solved.
4) Broadband. Get 3 months worth. It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes before you wonder how you managed without it.
5) MX700 with elite keyboard and a func1030/ratzpadgs etc. Should come out to a bit less than 100 depending how much you get the MX700 for.

I'd also say a new mobo (without all the highlighted text) ;). Albatron or Abit BH7 if you want to do some overclocking....

Wow thats a lot more input than I expected! Got a few comments...
1. I don't think DSL is right for me just yet, 40-50 bucks sounds a little bit too high, maybe I'll get rid of Directv.
2. I Really don't need any more space in my HD. I was fine with my 8 gb drive in my old computer, although maybe I'll consider a Barracuda before I go insane with this noise.
3. I use onboard sound, an audigy 2 would be nice.
4. Wow, name brand power supplies are expensive! I don't know if I want to spend 100 bucks on a PSU
5. Upgrading my mobo would be a really hard process...I didn't build this comp myself, so I don't know if I really want to mess with the CPU and all that.
6. No more RAM is neccesary.
7. Why does everyone hate the intellimouse explorer? I like this mouse and I don't think I'll go for the MX700.

It sounds like you already know what you want, Get the Audigy2.
I was reading that using the Audigy2 sound card makes yours games
run faster because it uses less CPU power than onboard sounds.

The Mobo has onboard ethernet. I have all broadband supplies ready(25 feet of Cat 5, Router, 1 extra NIC for another computer, no cable modem yet though), I just don't know if I'm ready for broadband yet.
