$70/mo

It isn't the best but it has the advantage of being really close to my place (1 block)

Is it worth not being a fatass? Definitely.

$35/month for the gym; $100/month for a Trainer

Gym - Totally worth it. It might not be cheaper than a treadmill or whatever, but the fact you makes you feel bad if don't use it.

Trainer - Half worth it. I was at a plateau for a year, so i broke down and got one. I have broken through and gained 7lbs of muscle in the past two months of having a trainer. Good to learn to techniques also, but not something to keep long term.

$15/month for the wellness center at work (campus). I could go to the gym on campus for free, but the equipment is old and there always seems to be a wait on some machines. With the wellness center I get updated equipment, no wait, and free training advise/testing. For me it is definitely worth it.

$60 a month. Lifetime Fitness

After working out like crazy for the last two years, I took the last month and a half off. Im back at it again though. I'd say it's worth it.

What is $60 really when it comes to your health and your body.

$0. Company reimburses you for fitness, but I'm sure they'd rather you use the one that's on site ;).

I paid $108/yr the past 2 years but they upped my rate. I paid like $140 for a year back in May. I go to Bally's. I go 4 times a week.

Yes it's worth it. Lifting is my hobby and it's fun to set goals for yourself and see your body change. I've gained over 40 lbs since I started lifting.

$54.00 per month. Totally worth it. All brand new equipment, place is alway immaculate. It is owned by two really nice guys who help me a lot without charging me trainer fees. Plus, when I go during the day, I pretty much have the whole place to myself. I put on my radio station for the weight session and watch General Hospital while on the treadmill.

On another note, I heard Justin Timberlake does 300 situps and 200 pushups a day.

Pushups and situps are free.

I have weights at home, but just a simple crappy bench.
Perhaps I will just buy a better bench, with leg exercises and what not, and do it at home.
Sounds cheaper even in the short run.

It might be cheaper but I doubt you'll get as much out of it as you would belonging to a gym, that is if you are serious about getting into shape.

Also, being a member at a gym creates motivation that a home gym couldnt provide.
