yep they tested this on mythbusters, and to their surprise (and to mine as well), it actually stopped the radiator leak temporarily

Hmm looked this up on cartalk and seems it's true. So when my radiator got a small crack in it in NH I could have put egg whites in there to keep it going. Fortunately the crack was minor so I just had to keep putting a little radiator fluid in it until I got home later that week.
