I get grossed out and toss it. However, I'm perfectly OK with all the sloughed skin, sweat, and mucus droplets that are in my food because I can't see it.

One hair- big deal. It happens.

Not sure why people are so grossed out by a strand of hair.

Now, one time I had a fingernail in my Big Mac. THAT was nasty. Thing was so big it was either a thumbnail or a toenail. Got free food for a month on that, but never went back there.

Toenail is probably more nutritious than a Big Mac.

I'd probably remove the hair and eat the meal. Once, I had pieces of fingernails on my pizza... I didn't eat it.

that reminds me of the time i found a cockroach in a slice of pizza from the cafeteria at work. i picked it out along with about 1" surrounding the cockroach tomb and ate the rest.

i have however, not eaten pizza from the cafeteria since then and don't go there as often as i used to

I try to convince myself that it is one of my own hairs that just happened to fall in while I was eating as I pick it out of my food. This usually works...and I haven't died from eating something that was next to a strand of hair yet.

remove the hair, discard it, scan the food to see if there is more hair, if there is not too much or only a few strands, i proceed to eat my food

Just take out the hair and proceed to eat the food. If the food tastes good, continue to patronize restaurant in question.

Its puzzling that someone would take issue with hair in their fast food, when the food itself is really much more disgusting when you really think about it.
