Here's Asia Carrera's computer, and another one for good measure. Apparently, she made it herself. With that sorta talent, I wonder why she isn't working for Apple designing pretty computers instead of ******* on camera;)

Asia Carrera is not representative of adult stars.

She has an IQ higher than 120, while most adult stars have IQ's well below.

As for designing computers, there is nothing original about the unit pictured. She just bought a transparent acrylic case, installed everything inside, then put in a neon light.

She didn't even cut a window or apply an applique!

Very lame, as case mods go.

Cut a window in a transparent case? uhhh....heheh j/k. Yeah it's not as fruity as some of the other case mods I've seen but then again, that remote control power thing is kind of neat (the remote keychain you see in the picture turns the computer on/off). Useless, but neat!

and is it just me or do porn stars skimp on things? seriously, i've seen pictures of jenna jameson's and now asia's stuff, and frankly it surprises me... i figured they'd be rich and have fancy stuff, but they have normal stuff, like that table in the picture and crap. *shrug*

Since when does buying a USB remote control unit and plugging it in qualify as a case mod?

MAYBE if she gutted the original plastic case and integrated the unit into the front panel of the case somehow, I would call it a mod.

As it is, it is no different than buying and plugging in a USB gamepad or USB scanner.

You guys are reading too much into this. There is nothing extraordinary (or interesting) about this computer. An expensive prebuilt case, plus a neon light. Yawn.

Ten year olds do better case mods these days.

Doesn't surprise me, really.. if you get a look at pictures of a LOT of celebrities without makeup, they look ugly. Or just average or plain, or whatever. Most of the "beauty" you see in hollywood is the work of really good makeup artists and stylists and other such people, not actual beauty.

I think that really says something about modern humans and our tastes... :eek: :Q :disgust:

True, some stars are naturally beautiful without any makeup at all, but usually they don't look anything like they do with it.

She is still not going to enjoy (or maybe even understand) a long discussion on the relative merits of the P4 and the Athlon XP.

And she is still not going to give the time of day to anyone who reads these forums. She is going to date rich, superficial, old guys with weak sex drives who are likely to kick the bucket soon.

That is what porn stars and strippers are all about.

And all porn stars are about building their own computers - and yes she can hold her own regarding the P4 vs XP...you obviously haven't seen her talk about her previous computers! I'm not reading more into this; this thread is lighthearted anyways. For goodness sakes, stop being such a brown noser;)
