I ran a 16.5 on a trashed clutch...my car is good for a 15 flat, but I haven't had time to even hit the track since I replaced the clutch... :( nothing special just yet, I want to be able to run mid 13's on street tires and I'll be happy :)

Kick ass!!!!

Even a 18 sec car is fun at a drag strip. If you never raced at one, I suggest you go for it. I never won or even close.

I had the most fun doing time trials. My cutlass was running around 18secs and I played with the 4 barrels to kick in sooner and thats when I finally got my 16.59(best).
FUN:)

You don't need a 10 sec car to have a ball.

Roger, I'm LMAO!
We bought a 1968 Camper shortly after we were married in 1975, and I don't think I have gotten as much enjoyment per $$ from anything I have ever had.
