I only publicly came out as autistic (Asperger's - and go on, get the "Assburgers" out of your system) a few years ago because of the stigma attached to being "a retard".

Cats, dogs and computers really like me - "normals" not so much.

I have gotten used to that.

It's not an excuse or a get out of jail free card and what I have been told by my best friend who I have known for 50 years, "Sometimes you come across like a bacon sandwich at a Bar Mitzvah".

Now instead of extending bannings for a word that has been used in that portion of the forum for 499 posts (I think that was the limit of the counter) without any comment, then just ask me to leave and not come back.

I will do that.

I don't want to intrude upon your "normalcy".

I'm an atheist, and when my mother died I would not go into the Roman Catholic service for her death because I was not going to intrude on that or denigrate the beliefs of those who were attending in good faith.

I have not and never would post in bad faith here, but it seems as if some think I do.

Instead of trying to sicken me off by bogus short term bannings, just ask me to leave.
