yah, i saw that

having said that NOOOOOOOOOOOO UP-tempo team would do as well without their point guard, and Nash is a no-D playing ninny. Most over-rated player in league history.

WOW. JUST WOW. Most over-rated player in league history? I have to say it again, WOW.

So are you saying someone like bruce bowen or ben wallace should be rated higher? You are in dreamland buddy. This isn't football moron, defense doesn't always win games. When you average a much higher score than the other team, and you WILL get your points one way or another, you win.

Im gonna be laughing my ass off when steve is put in the same group as magic johnson, wilt chamberlain and Michael jordan with 3 MVPS in a row. I bet you still will call him overrated

I've heard people bash Nash's defense a thousand times yet nobody offers some sort of proof to back it up. He's not a great defender, but he is an underrated defender and the Suns never lose a game because of his defense. Without Nash the Suns are scoring a lot of points, but their FG% against is a lot worse. His presence on the floor makes the Suns a better offensive team, and better defensive team.

Edit: Oh, and I remember hearing that Nash led the league in taking charges before he got injured. That is a part of defense.

Oh, and nash does play D (somewhat). he draws charges a lot actually. He cant block (Hes 6'3" and WHITE) and he can't rebound. So what does he do? He does what he can do best, offense. Generating 10+ assists in a game and 20+ points in a game is no laughing matter. Thats a generation of almost 40 points.

Probably closer to 45 points actually. If you look at the Suns without Nash, probably the biggest difference offensively is the lack of wide open three-point shots he creates for Bell, Barbosa, Jones and to a lesser extent Marion.
