I feel that if i don't beat a game, or complete it a certain %, i feel as if i didn't get my complete money's worth.
with that said, i've beaten 95% of the games that i own.
but GT3 is one hard bastard to complete 100% with the stupid endurance laps :|

I try to beat all my games, even if I have to look at a walkthrough.

The only game I completely gave up on was Septerra Core. That game had the most boring battle system ever. The only way it could have been worse is if the battles were random.

GT3 was meant to agravate :)
Seriously I just finished Vice City (not 100%),
I didn't care much for delivering pizza or passing crack from an ice cream truck.
Sitting for many minutes in front of an animated stripper wasn't terrible :)

I think the last game I've gotten all the way through was Halo. It rocked from start to finish.

Just about got through Metroid Prime, but had to sell my GC :(

Usually I don't have enough time to sit down and play all the way through the games I get. I hate life :(

I try to beat all the games I buy.

I don't buy many games because I'm picky about spending money on games.

The games I do buy I really enjoy playing. And get lots of replay value out of most.

TTT
T4
CvS2
MGS2:S
GT3

a few others but my bro or father bought them.....

If I get at least 15hrs + I DEFINATELY feel the price of the game was WORTH it to me. Also notice that I don't actually buy many games. I've had this ps2 since 4 months after it came out. I have bought about 4-5 games.

I rarely beat all my games. Thinking back, I can remember beating only a few games. Mafia, MOH:AA, and Max Payne come to mind. I guess you could throw NHL 2003 onto that list since I did play through quite a few 82 game seasons + Stanley Cup playoffs. Besides those, I haven't really beaten any game I own. I got bored with Diablo II midway through Act III, I got bored with GTA III once I got onto the third island, and I didn't even beat Deus Ex, a game I consider to be the best of all time. I got to the final level, ran out of almost all my ammo, and then was getting repeatedly killed by a bunch of spider bots, so I just said to hell with it and moved on. In Return to Castle Wolfenstein, I got to one of the uber soldat bosses, couldn't beat him, and stopped. I just play a game as long as it remains fun, but once it starts to lose that, then I quit.

I try to beat all my games. MOHAA I never beat because it ran like crap on my older system and I never installed it again, and Splinter Cell I'm doing very slowly, but its very very fun.

Most games now bore me so I don't finish 'em or I'll cheat just to see the ending and file it away. But I always get my $$$ worth. TGFTI. ;)

if i buy a bad game, i would feel more ripped off wasting my time trying to beat it rather tha just putting it aside

If I can play a game for more time then it took me to make the money to buy it, then I know it was a good purchase. Although, GTA3 is pissing me off with the missions, it seems like I have a curse of beating one every night, then nothing else at all. Then I just try and get the highest police rating I can and evade the cops for as long as possible.
