If you do dual-boot, and restart the OS, will it automatically reboot into that OS?

I'm thinking about doing a dual-boot Windows XP Home/Windows XP Pro system. If I'm in XP Home and I choose restart, will it go to the OS chooser menu and select the first OS after 5 seconds or whatever, or will it automatically go back into XP Home? I don't want to install software, restart, and have to choose one or the other. Anyone know?

If you set up your dual-boot the easiest way (controlled by XP itself), after reboot, it will always go to the default OS regardless of what OS you were in last.

But, if you use a third party utility like Partition Magic and hide one of the two partitions, it will always reboot to the partition that is not hidden. So, as long as you don't change the hidden partition, it is like you have only one partition and are not dual booting. When you want to boot to the other partition, you unhide it and hide the other partition and boot and there you go.

As I said, the first option is the simplest to set up.
