Froma previous discussion on Decompression it seemed rather inconclusive as to what happens. Some think explosion others don't, I wasn't convinced either way. However, regarding Bacteria, I think any Bacteria in the body would likely be killed due to the extreme heat, the extreme cold would cause bacteria to go into hibernation, so it would have little time to actually grow/multiply. The body would certainly be dehydrated and cooked. Probablt eventually burnt to a crisp.

No, it was just an idle thought that crossed my mind. I think it had something to do with a quote of Neil Armstrong's regarding space travel and the fact that he could block out the earth with his thumb. My mind kind of wandered from there.
