Yes.

If my husband was in an accident and paralyzed from the waist down (knock on wood), I would still love and be with him every day for the rest of my life. As enjoyable as our sex life is, coitus isn't everything and I could certainly live without it as long as we continued to live with and love each other. A commitment is a commitment is a commitment.

My wife and I haven't done the dirty deed in over two years and we are still together. The only reason is that we have two kids we are trying to give a good start on life. The minute they are out of the house, so am I.

Yes indeed. They are both teachers now, he was hurt as a fireman. Can you imagine teaching high school math from a wheelchair??

lets assume there was a brain injury / tramatic event or similar.

that made the person unable to deal with sexual situations.

things like cuddling, hugging, kissing ... ie. affection not sexual the person could handle.

but if it turned sexual they would passout / have panic attacks or something along those lines.

So you're saying passed out is a problem? I just don't see it...

What an impressive couple. As for teaching high school math from a wheelchair, at that, whew - your sister's husband has my utmost respect.
