Buy lots of Dell and Microsoft stock in the 90's, sell it in early 2000, and then get some Google when it IPO's. Avoid that "high performance" stock club that invested in Enron and MCI WorldCom like a plague, though. Nothing wrong with holding on to that Berkshire Hathaway, though!

When you get an offer to take those pictures for that porn site, don't tell them that you don't have the proper camera and lenses for it... Just BUY the damn camera and lenses!

Be careful. She never bothered to tell you that she's married.

Don't lease that Audi. You won't be able to afford it when you suddenly get transferred to another site 50 miles away.

Don't buy that piece of junk on Woot... there is a reason it's so cheap! (I still haven't learned this lesson properly, even though most of the stuff was useless junk)

And last of all... Don't buy a condo at the peak of the housing bubble!
