Sure why not. Just so there are no surprises. And yes, if my demise sucks, I will personally intervine using my god given power of choice! "No, man in charge, I don't think it's time yet." Easy~

Sure. The rest of my life would be sorta like Groundhog Day. There would be no consequences to risky behavior. Assume I knew that I was going to die because I got hit by a bus while I was walking across the street at the age of 80. I could climb Mount Everest, kayak over Niagara Falls, go base jumping, etc., all without fear of death.

that doesnt make any sense at all... You know you are going to die, so what difference does it make when it happens whether you do those things or not?

If you had said an age of 25 or something then it would make more sense because there is a much more limited time in which to do them

I think his point had to do with the "and you can't do anything to change it." part of the OP. This would seem to imply that it is all predetermined and it didn't matter what you did.

For me personally, I have no idea.

Yes, but I would stop crossing streets at the age of 80 and see if the bus would still get me.

Makes no sense. Suppose I'm going to die at age 90 with a heart attack. What's to stop me from dying tomorrow if I decide to put on a suicide vest and blow it up?

note that he said die, doing those you could become a veg, or lose a limb and be in a wheel chair for the rest of your life. Then you know you will have to be in that wheel chair until you are 80 :p
